Decisions in the handwork

I've always been drawn to pieces that serve a purpose while also telling a story. With this shelf, I wanted to create something more than a place to display a plant. The engraved floral design adds a layer of personality and craftsmanship that changes the piece from simple storage into wall art.

The rich grain of walnut provides a beautiful canvas for the engraving, and I enjoy seeing how light catches the carved details throughout the day. While the shelf is compact, it has a surprising presence on the wall and works well either as a standalone accent or grouped with other pieces.
